Community club:
aged care volunteer visitor scheme
This program matches friendly volunteers with mature community members who are socially isolated to develop friendships.
Funded by the Australian government, volunteers will visit their new friends on a fortnightly basis, engaging in activities together such as playing card games, gardening, listening to music, cooking and more!
Volunteer as a community club visitor
Volunteering as a Community Club visitor is a meaningful way to make a real difference to the life of a lonely community member, establishing a genuine friendship and connection.
To be eligible to become a volunteer visitor, you must;
- Be at least 18 years oldÂ
- Have access to transportÂ
- Be available for 30 minutes or more each fortnightÂ
- Undergo an application and orientation process, and any required training
- Obtain police checks as directed.

- Be on a waitlist to receive a home care package
