Community club:

aged care volunteer visitors scheme

Make a new friend, create a meaningful connection!

This program matches friendly volunteers with mature community members who are socially isolated to develop friendships.

Funded by the Australian government, volunteers will visit their new friends on a fortnightly basis, engaging in activities together such as playing card games, gardening, listening to music, cooking and more!

Volunteer as a community club visitor

Volunteering as a Community Club visitor is a meaningful way to make a real difference to the life of a lonely community member, establishing a genuine friendship and connection.

  • Be over 18 years old
  • Be available for 30 minutes or more a fortnight
  • Commit to 6 months of visits
